Egg, beans and cauliflower salad with bacon cracklings
Ahhh yes! Something for the hot summer days. Make it, put it in the fridge for a couple of minutes and eat it. Definitly one of my favorites.
Don't be afraid. It's gonna taste fantabombastical...
We're gonna need a couple of things (the upper picture shows stuff for 5 normal people, but 2 can take that too *nod nod*):
- A piece of bacon
- 5 eggs
- A middle sized cauliflower
- A small can of green peas
- A small can of young corn
- A small can of brown beans
- Some mozzarella
- A middle sized onion
- One of those soup cubes (either chicken, beef or vegetable
- Salt, pepper and powdered chilli
- Vinegar, oil and Garlic vinegar (seriously good stuff)

Step 1:
Wash the cauliflower and put it into a large pot, add enough water to cover it completely, add a teaspoon of salt and let it boil for about 5-7 minutes (if you got a bigger cauliflower let it boil a bit longer).

Step 3:
Meanwhile we're gonna get our salad on the way. Dice the bacon (as much as you want of it, you can even let it out, but then it just wouldn't be the same, ne?). Tuck it away someplace for the time being.

Step 4:
Next let's chop up the veggies... starting with onions. Peel that hard yellowish stuff off, cut it in half and slice it so you get those half circle slices. Now throw that into a LARGE bowl.

Step 5:
Let's cut that young corn stems in half (or third's, or quarters), and the mozzarella? Just tear those mozzarella balls appart. I find it looks better that way. It doesn't affect the taste in any way tho. Throw that into the large bowl with onions.

Step 6:
Let's now add the canned beans (drain them first), and green pees (drain those too). Season the whole thing with just a little salt, pepper and chilli and mix it. By now the cauliflower should be ready so...

Step 7:
just break it up into bite (no... not bits you silly geekoid) sized pieces... you're gonna have to cut the larger ones tho.

Step 8:
The eggs will probably be done by now too so take 'em off... and put on a kettle with water and throw in that space-age soup (the cubed thing). It'll take it another 10 minutes.

Step 9:
Now the eggs... Remove the eggshells, cut 'em up into quarters and throw em into the mix.
While we're still waiting for the soup to get ready (it's not all that space age afterall...

Step 10:
...we're gonna get our bacon that we tucked away, put it into a pan with hot oil and...

Step 12:
Now let's take those bacon cracklings and pour 'em on top of our salad. Now we're gonna add that soup and make the whole thing juicy.

Step 13:
We're gonna finnish off the seasoning with a tad of oil, vinegar and the garlic vinegar. (add salt and pepper if you think it's needed). Now mix it all up (just use your hands and do a good job at it). After that, all you need to do is get a couple of victims to enjoy the meal.
P.S. You'll get best results if you put the whole thing into the fridge for half an hour before eating.
