Patapata Hikousen No Bouken
Patapata Hikousen No Bouken (Secret Of Cerulean Sand) isn't an exceptionaly complex anime... but it still has that special something that makes it stick out. Maybe it's its cuteness, maybe the background music or the characters. To me it was the beautiful story that won me over. Basicaly, it's just one of those heartwarming stories that just chain you to the screen.
The story kicks off on a sad note with Jane's mother dieing giving birth to her. But the sadness doesn't end there... Jane's father gets remaried and his new wife brings her son William into the family. William never feels comfortable with his new father Edward and brother George, he is however comfortable with Jane. His situation gets even worse when his mother suddenly dies.
A few years later George leaves to asia on a search expedition and William dissapears at the same time. But after a while Edward Buxton recieves word of George's execution while some strangers rob his bank... both news striking at almost the same time are too much for him and falls ill. Jane however is not convinced of George's death and decides to go look for him with her butler St. Berain.
