Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure
This is as close to hard-copying Neon Genesis Evangelion as one can get without being accused of plagiarism. Well... not exactly. It's a parody. And a hillarious one at that!
Kazuki is just a normal boy who goes to school and surfs the web and can see... giant robots fighting. Everything actually began a couple years back, but that's irrelevant... or maybe not. Anyway, a girl, Mitsuki, aproaches him at school because she's interested in those giant robots and, after Kazuki faces her not-so-happy-about-her-being-with-him fan club, she takes him to meet her father. Well... Ken (Mitsuki's father) straps him into a chair and soon after Kazuki is accidentaly transported into a parallel world... where those robots actually exist!.
Later on Kazuki is faced with a bunch of real-life problems such as piloting a giant robot, or living with four (4!!!!) girls that are in love with him and so on... you know... stuff we face every day...
Personally I just love parodies taking on smash hits and tearing them appart. And this is one of such parodies. I loved it despite the fact the animation is not exactly the best, and neither is the style (well it's old-ish, 1999), but the story and music really make up for it.
